Africa: the cradle of civilisation. A continent far from the quiet shores of Brighton. Yet the visit of an African diplomat to Brighton brings trouble for Jarrod and his team. Sir Archie, famous financier married to the Foreign Secretary of South Africa has other ideas than to stay and enjoy the beauty of Sussex with his wife.

The clock starts ticking for Jarrod and his team as Sir Archie's wife has been kidnapped and there are huge consequences if they don't succeed.

Jarrod must learn about the past to find the future.

For Nikki, the South African Foreign Minister, it was to have been a truly enjoyable visit to Brighton with her husband and to be there with him to find his roots. Unknown to her, Sir Archie has other plans, and a holiday in Brighton gives him the opportunity to change his fortunes.

The spectre of a long forgotten war rears its ugly head of violence, threatening to turn Brighton into an epicentre of death - something that Jarrod and his team are in a deadly race against time to avoid.
