Annie Frazer Simpson is a woman who loves dogs and music, history and the countryside. She has never learned how to give up, though plenty of times she might have, relying on resourcefulness, determination and a wry sense of humour to get her through.

She holds a BA from the Open University, an Honorary B Ed from the University of Winchester, and a Licentiateship from Trinity College of Music (London). She was elected the first woman chair of Central London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and also served as a member of its national executive. She has worked extensively in education, in classical music performance and as a 'wordsmith' in public relations, advertising and fund-raising roles in the voluntary sector. Having earned her first pay packet as a shop assistant, when she stepped away from fulltime employment it was as Joint Managing Director of a specialist publishing house.

Always a mystic and a seeker, across a lifetime and almost by chance, Annie has stumbled into what is now a deep and abiding Faith. In her eighties, she is still at work as a writer.
