This tale is about life and events in three major cities: Liverpool, London and Paris, concerning Lili, a lass, as Northerner's call young women. Lili was born in Liverpool, and raised during the era of the Beatles and the Mersey Sound. Lili falls in love at first sight with Jay, her first love. He becomes her Pygmalion. When he leaves Liverpool to work in the United States of America, she is devastated but resilient. She moves to London where she forges a career in the film industry. Unexpectedly, sometime later, Jay comes back into her life and they live-the-dream together in London. However, during a short trip to Paris with her younger sister, Lili meets a man who will change the course of her life forever. She leaves England and everything behind to follow her gut feeling in Paris on the Continent, where things happen...

About the author: The author, Linda Mathis, aka Lilipool, lives in the South of France, between mountains, sea and vineyards. Her career spans four decades, mainly in international and multi-national firms around the world. She has two grown-up sons and now spends her time writing and painting.
