After school she pursued a career in accountancy in Northamptonshire before moving back home with her husband and family. She rediscovered her love of baking whilst raising her two sons and hasn't looked back since. She opened a Cafe in Cockermouth, Cumbria and then moved on to her blog, Sarah's Slice during COVID when she'd shared her trials and tribulations trying to perfect a malt loaf!
