In peer counselling, the client is called upon to discuss a real-life concern and be helped with this by their peer therapist. This book provides a step-by-step guide to the practice of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy in peer counselling. It can also be used as a basic introduction to the clinical practice of REBT. The book has been updated to reflect changes in the language and practice of REBT.
Windy Dryden is a Fellow of the Albert Ellis Institute and one of its core trainers. He has trained REBT therapists for almost half a century and continues to look for ways to make the practice of REBT more effective and efficient. He has written many books on REBT, including Seven Principles of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (Rationality Publications, 2021).
