Korfvlechten was written by Toon Brekelmans and published first in 1979. Until now, the full text has only been available in Dutch. It is hoped that this English translation will lead to a wider appreciation of Toon Brekelmans, his skill in basket making, his eye for form and function, his attention to detail and the book's excellent images. The book will be of interest to beekeepers who wish to make skeps, as well as those interested in making baskets and bowls for more general use.
