A Love Remembered

The true story of how my mum's life, and the lives of those around her, were forever changed by Alzheimer's, and the disastrous diagnosis of my father's frontal lobe dementia, discovered through an extraordinary life changing event. As an only child, I carried the responsibility of ensuring they both had the utmost in care and protection, and that everything possible could be done to help them. As I was to find out though, the decisions were not always mine to make!

This book is written for those who are faced with the enormity of an Alzheimer's diagnosis, what it means for those afflicted, and specifically for close family members who have to deal with the firefighting and rollercoaster of emotions that are part and parcel of the 'journey'.
