Besieged and alone during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sara shuts out the world around and but writes increasingly desperate messages to the man she loves, imploring him to communicate more.

Recalling a happier time, but mindful of the often cruel irony of fate, she worries that what she trusts the most will be her undoing. She grows increasingly insecure and suspicious, accusing her lover of deliberately ignoring her and reading unstated meaning into his limited responses.

She wants to stop writing him but questions her ability to do so. And then one day...
