Kate Arnold processes the world through writing lyrics and poetry. She is the vocal half of the band 'Dead Anyway' and this is her debut collection of poetry.

At the time of writing, there are nearly eighty pieces which

I have written for Dead Anyway, and it was important to me to choose ones for the collection which would work as poetry on the page. Some of the tracks which go down well at gigs, for example, feature an amount of repetition within the lyrics which might not make sense to someone who hasn't seen them performed live with their music.

The majority of these poems were written specifically for music which Marc has sent me, although Iron Filings, Have You Gone and Stay Sticky started with the written piece which he then wrote something around.
