This book aims to analyse scripture in the context of all Bible evidence relating to the most frequently asked questions in Christianity. These top ten topics have divided many in the body of Christ confirmed in various different teachings of the church. Many of the answers to these questions in scripture are clear cut, whereas others need a lot more scrutiny by weighing up all scripture and not just particular chosen verses to come to an informed decision. My intention is not to push for a particular teaching of the church, but rather ask the most important question; what does the text say? Some of the most frequently asked questions in Christianity are philosophical, whereas other questions will be on an ethical and moral basis. When investigating many of the answers to these questions it will be vital to take it from a scriptural standpoint, that the word of God does not change (Hebrews 13.8) (James 1:17) (Mal 3:6). This also means that He has not changed His mind according to the moral guidance He has given us. Any answers to the questions will not rely on subjective evidence based on the way society feels about a given situation, but will be based on the unchanging objective word of God. ‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness’. 2 Timothy 3:16QUESTIONS THIS BOOK INTENDS TO INVESTIGATE -Where did Cain get his wife?-What does the Bible say about pastors being women?-What does the Bible say about Christians tithing?-Can a Christian lose their salvation?-What happens when we die?-Do pets go to heaven?-Why is Christian baptism important?-What does the Bible say about the Trinity?-What does the Bible say about drinking alcohol?-What does the Bible say concerning divorce?ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Karsten is an international award winning author ‘Tithing: Reviewing Scripture in context’, and ‘Creation: On the Origin of Man’. He has worked as a Pentecostal Pastor, planting churches in the UK and working in a Missions and Evangelism department ministering the Gospel in Africa, Asia and South America. With a PGCE from Exeter University and studies with the Open University in Educational Research, he has taught Religious Education mainly in Christianity and Judaism for the last 20 years. He also has a keen interest in apologetics.
