Holly is a beautiful snow leopard whose upbringing in her early days was anything but ideal. It could easily have resulted in her not reaching adulthood because of how she was treated by parents and siblings alike. The former didn’t want to feed her because she was the runt of the litter, and the latter bullied her mercilessly. A very bleak existence that could easily have ended in disaster.

Then, an alliance of three very unlikely ‘friends’ drifted into her life and drew her slowly into their strange circle, allowing her to develop a sense of purpose and belonging. They were Libby the arctic fox cub, Niamh the arctic wolf pup, and Maria the stoat kit, forming a disparate group of unlikely associates that shared one important goal - to survive in a harsh and inhospitable world.
