J'ai lu ce roman avec un grand plaisir et, bien que convaincu depuis longtemps de la toxicite de la Bible hebraique, j'y ai trouve bien des idees et des points de vue nouveaux. En abordant ce sujet austere sous la forme d'un roman, avec deux personnages riches et attachants, l'auteur l'a rendu accessible et captivant, sans nuire a la profondeur de l'analyse. C'est un livre que j'aurais aime ecrire moi-meme, si j'avais eu le talent litteraire de l'auteur.
