Waking the Sleepers

Three years after terrorists bombed the US Embassy in Kenya, a monkey in a remote forest developed red eyes and a rash. Four days later the monkey was dead, and the terrorists awoke and rewrote the biology of Marburg disease. The Embassy and the city of Nairobi are now threatened by a bio-engineered virus with devastating potential. Colette a virologist and Dima an African hunter form an unlikely partnership and join American, British and Kenyan security forces confronting the threat, a task made increasingly difficult by the conflicting emotions Colette faces.
