A Boy’s Best Friend

Years ago, Clinton’s mother left their home in order to make a new life for herself in London. When his mother finally sends for him, Clinton must leave his life on the island behind to join her in the city, and with it the Saturdays spent fishing with his uncle, the blue of the sea, and most of all his dog, Rufus.

Among all this change, however, as Clinton adapts to his new life the pull of the natural world and companionship of a ‘boy’s best friend’ are never far away.
