Choreographing Space

This book documents the work of New York architecture practice, e+i studio.

It presents a wide selection of projects from the studio, taking the reader on a journey and giving them a thorough understanding of the important work of this dynamic and forward-thinking architecture and design practice - from a freestanding loft conversion in Brooklyn, to a gallery showroom in Beijing, to the performance installation in a disused storefront space in Lower Manhattan that inspired the name of the title, Choreographing Space.

Structured into four parts, each part opens with a philosophical text that acts as an insightful prelude to the topics, questions and reflections posed by each project.

This book will appeal to academic readers and aspiring and established architects as it provides a theoretical and philosophical overview of architecture, and the different environments in which it is experienced.
