The Door: Creative Writing Anthology

Welcome to the first story anthology produced by students of Buckinghamshire New University’s BA (Hons) Creative Writing for Publication course. This collection of short stories and poetry is the work of our first year of students, starting the course in September 2015. Many of these works were assignments begun at the start of the year and refined through peer editing and feedback from lecturers. This anthology epitomises the new philosophy of the degree. Creative writing assignments are not drafted, marked and forgotten. Instead, each are refined and improved through subsequent drafts and feedback from students and staff right up until the end of the year.
