An old church on the Isle of Man had lain derelict for many centuries, when it was decided by the church authorities to put a new roof on it.
All attempts failed and the superstitious villagers were convinced it was the work of an evil spirit called a Buggane.
A brave tailor named Timothy made a wager with the locals that he could stay in the church all night and make a pair of trousers at the same time.
As night closed in, and Timothy was alone in the candlelit church, he began to realise he might have underestimated the power of the evil Buggane…
