This is the story of my life - full of adventure, and challenge, joy and sadness. The story of a childhood before the development of modern technology, of when I married a widower and adopted his two young children, and how I went with them to live in Africa at the age of just twenty-four. How did I live in such a hot country with dangerous animals, snakes, and poisonous insects? How did I live without any modern conveniences, have two more children, and still manage to take care of my family? This book recounts all the personal stories and memories, recording the escapades, dramas and experiences of my exciting life from my birth up to my eventual return to England with my family.
