The books of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther tell how the Jewish people - through faith, courage and persistence - overcame opposition, threat and intimidation. Despite the opposition of their enemies, they rebuilt their lives and worshipped as a godly people once more. We can learn many lessons from these books and be encouraged that God is our refuge and strength .
