This is tip of the ice-berg regarding my determination and effort to bring healthcare delivery to Northern rural Gambia. The path is a trail of hard work intermingled with immigration problems of foot-dragging bureaucracy. Incident I came across in 1954 reinforced my determination to bring solution to Gambia’s rural healthcare delivery. Villagers walk l over a hundred miles seeking medical service and only find empty shelved dispensaries with no doctor to attend them. Gambia’s healthcare is understaffed and ill-equipped Health Centres. I dedicate my life to providing medical service to rural Gambia through NGO Manding Medical Centre I founded at Njawara village since 1993. The Centre has treated free 90,000 villagers and needs all and any help one can give or join in a good humanitarian cause to needy villagers.
