I will give up anything to wipe my daughters'tears and I will thought give my heart and my love to wipe precious golden drops of tears welling down gorgeous illuminating faces missing me. Yet I could not get rid of guilt for each drop of tear from such lovely and brilliant girls. Bob Marley sang, Woman, no cry. And I say daughters your tears sink my heart into an abysses. I love you and remain proud daddy. Each time I telephone them and hear them cry my heart sinks with gut twisting into painful spasmodic relays. I let Gambia under difficult circumstances without chance to explain why I had to leave surreptitiously. They were vulnerable which made life unbearable. The that I will not be around physically when they need my acknowledgement, love, a wink or a smile, and for security made me sick. This work is about pain my three roses and I experienced from 2000 to now. It has been years of dreaming to touch, hug and make them smiling and happy. I write to raise funds for building Njawara village hospital.
