The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter: And Other Fantastic Stories

The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, also known as The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, was written around the tenth century AD, and tells of an extraterrestrial girl found in a bamboo field. This story is the earliest known tale of aliens visiting Earth.
