In Attending to Movement, 26 dancers, teachers, researchers, therapists, choreographers and lecturers bring their collected knowledge and experience to bear on questions like these. The result - which draws on contributions from the second Dance and Somatic Practices International Conference, held at Coventry University’s Centre for Dance Research in 2013 - is a fascinating interdisciplinary addition to our understandings of movement and somatics in the context of relationship, ethics, creativity, writing, health and knowledge-generation.
