Throughout the Bible we read of many names being attributed to God. Each is designed to reveal to us a different aspect of His character and communicates something of how God desires to interact with us.

Above all the name of God show us that He wants to meet our needs in every area of life. When we call for help, He has an answer - and that answer is Himself. It we are stressed out by life, He is our Peace. If we are embattled and oppressed, He is our Banner - the One who not only watches over us, but goes into battle on our behalf.
