I bide in and haunt an old fisherman’s cottage called Jonah’s Neuk at Seahouses on the cold windy coast of Northumberland. The house was sold eighteen months ago after Young Hilda passed away at the age of one hundred and seven and converted into a holiday home for tourists who come to the North East.
