Prophets and their Burden

Prophets could be described as God's quality control and GPS officers which puts them on a collision course with the people. Also, they're often called to do difficult & shocking things to pass God's message to His people. Further, Jesus said, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own house." Prophets grace a lot of ridicule and outright denial among the cessationists who deny the gifts of the Spirit and the offices of the Apostles and Prophets today. These are the issues addressed in this book including the functions of a prophet and biblical control to keep them in check.
