There are two systems in operation on Earth: The Kingdom of the World system and the Kingdom of God System - God’s ways of doing things. So the battle is between the world system and the kingdom of God system. But Satan is the ruler of the darkness of this world In order to rule; he (Satan) had to put in place a System that he can control and that can guarantee his outcome.
