English Opening: Volume 1: Grandmaster Repertoire 3

Mihail Marin’s reputation as a chess author is unsurpassed. In these two volumes he reveals his own white repertoire with the English Opening. The theory is state-of-the-art with many novelties suggested, but most useful of all are Marin’s lucid explanations of how to play the resulting positions. Volume One covers 1.c4 e5 while Volume Two covers all other replies to 1.c4, including 1…c5, 1…e6, 1…c6 and so on.
