Social and Emotional Learning in Circle Time

A comprehensive curriculum for primary schools. Back in 2005 was the first time that the Department for Education and Skills in England advised primary schools that they should introduce the teaching of social and emotional skills into the curriculum - teaching skills such as recognising and handling emotions, getting along together and self-awareness. Social and Emotional Learning in Circle Time has been written to support schools in helping to teach children such skills, including how to get along with one another, feel appropriately confident in themselves, and know how to think about (and respond to) challenges in their lives.
