Moving Collections: Processes and Consequences

Transporting Objects and Collections presents the proceedings of the IIC Nordic Group conference ‘Planning to move? Processes and consequences for collections, objects and society’ held in October 2012. The main theme of the conference was the planned transport of objects and collections. The papers are a professional commentary on the desire to relocate objects of cultural heritage value: collections, individual objects, buildings and other built structures. The papers are in English, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish. Papers not written in English include an abstract in English.
