"Spelling in Practice" contains over 40 photocopiable worksheets. It is the most basic of our three books of A4 worksheets on spelling. It complements and extends the work covered in "Everyday Spelling", our most popular spelling book. "Spelling in Practice" provides simple spelling and punctuation exercises using examples of everyday writing tasks. It recognises that much of our writing, whether it be on a keyboard, keypad or on paper, involves the frequent use and repetition of certain words, in simple sentences or notes, in letters and in filling in forms. Although, at the time of writing, the book is only at the rough draft stage, it is likely that most of the following will be included: key words; b/d; vowels; double letters; silent letters; words used in notes and messages around the house and in the workplace; place names and family names; shopping; e-mails; text messages; words needed for forms; and using capital letters and basic punctuation.
