Chosen in Christ

What does it mean to chosen in Christ ? Election and predestination are clearly taught in the Bible, but sadly these great doctrines have been distorted by some people into a theory of theological determinism which negates both human responsibility and the exercise of free will. To say this is to have missed their real meaning, and to ignore the main thrust of the revelation of Scripture that our God is the God of all grace who is not willing that any should perish.
