Waiting for the Light: Early Mountain Photography in British Columbia and Alberta, 1865-1939

An outstanding collection of archival photographs documenting early exploration, transportation, and settlement in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Brock Silversides has collected 200 archival photographs that highlight the various stages of mountain photography from the first forays into the region to the building of the railways and the development of communities and roads.
