The Song of Awakening contains Namgyal Rinpoche's pith instructions on the classical practice of Mindfulness of Death, the practice of meditation in general and the exemplary practice of Mahamudra 'the supreme path of enlightenment'. Included are key teachings and references to various schools of Buddha-Dharma, Judeo-Christianity and the Western Mysteries, as well as modern psychology and philosophy; all disciplines in which he was a master.
