Muslims in the UK: Policies for Engaged Citizens

Includes four policy papers focusing on Muslims in the UK. The papers address education, employment, justice, and equality. With their specific focus, the papers highlight how issues affect Muslims specifically, and make recommendations targeted to address those specificities, thus contributing to enriching the policy process. This publication is a follow up to the respective chapter in the EUMAP 2002 report Monitoring Minority Protection in the EU. The 2002 report was a snap shot of the situation of Muslims, in terms of minority rights, and their experiences of discrimination and disadvantage.
