Insist that Christ is Lord, and you divide the world. While most societies acknowledge God in some way or another, Christ as Lord is not so universally honored. For Christians, this matter should be settled. In words of gentle, yet pointed, rebuke, Christ turned to His disciples with the very pertinent question, ‘Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?’ (Luke 6:46).
