The volumes are reprints of the now highly collectable Barnsley Streets, published in the 1970s by E G Tasker, the well known local historian.The books contain detailed information of the occupation of each property and photographs of town centre streets. This latest volume includes all original material plus updated text and current photographs.Barnsley Streets - Volume3 will include fascinating details of Shambles Street one of the most historical streets in the town. Also included are; Racecommon Road, Westgate, Summer Lane, Dodworth Road and the original site of the famous Barnsley Market, Market Hill. All the books in the series have been produced with the support and assistance from the Tasker Trust.
