AUTHOR: Dr. Li Xiangning is associate dean and full professor in history, theory and criticism at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University. He is a member of International Committee of Architecture Critics (CICA); has worked as curator for numerous exhibitions; and his work about contemporary Chinese architecture and urbanism has been published widely. He is chief editor of Architecture China and President of Architecture China Foundation.
