AGES: 6 plus AUTHOR: Carol Florence is a poet-storyteller and writer who works with people of different ages and from all walks of life. She has been involved in creative education for over twenty-five years and during that time has explored the beauty and wisdom of traditional stories and the transformative power of the arts. She lives in Herefordshire, on the banks of the River Wye, and is continually inspired by the wooded valleys and hills that surround her. Emily Ford is a freelance illustrator from Cumbria. From a young age she had a passion for storytelling and reading, which inspired her to create her own imaginary worlds populated with people and magic. She went on to study Illustration at the University of Northampton to further her knowledge of drawing and visual arts. Emily is currently based in Carlisle where she is now working on illustrated children’s books. Her work is inspired by classic fairy tales, folklore and comics.
