Looking at Early Years Education and Care

This text provides an introduction to research and thinking in early years curriculum, health issues, special educational needs, bilingualism, the role of adults working with young children and the role of parents in young children’s development and learning. It takes account of the curriculum framework and Foundation Stage for early years and recognizes the demands of the National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies.
