This extended personal meditation on the mystery of Christ seeks to show how we participate in the reality which we call God by entering into, and sharing in, the experience of Jesus. In so doing the mystery of Christ is revealed and realised in us as it is in Jesus, and we become caught up in The Divine Dance of Love. The Carol ‘My Dancing Day’ is used as a framework: each verse focuses on a particular stage or event in the life of Jesus - from birth to temptation, suffering, death, resurrection and ascension. The image of the dance is important, precisely because it conveys this sense of involvement, experience and partnership with Christ. It is hoped that these meditations will enable the reader to be drawn more deeply into the mystery of Christ, which, although hidden, is waiting to be discovered and known at the heart of everything, for it is in Christ himself that God invites the whole of creation to dance in his love and to enter into the fullness and the joy of life.
