Joni sat on her farmhouse porch, just listening. Her cows were making music. Cerlery’s voice was round and mellow like an old apple barrel. Nutmeg could make the mandolin tinkle and dance like a fresh mountain stream. I love that old MOO-grass music, sighed Joni.

On Joni’s farm, cows Celery and Nutmeg are the star attraction. Everyone loves listening to their MOO-grass music. When the roof is blown off their barn, the cows get to work busking to pay for its repair. Soon Georgie Smarm hears the cows play and whisks them off on a money-making music tour! But when Georgie makes the cows change their style and keeps all the money for himself, Celery and Nutmeg head back to the farm. Can they use their musical talents with with famer Joni and the other animals to raise enough money for a new roof?
