AUTHOR BIO:

DENIS O'DRISCOLL was born in Ballydehob, County Cork, south-west Ireland in 1944. He was educated at St Finbarr’s College, Cork and St Patrick’s College of Education, Dublin. Commandant Joseph O'Keefe, champion Irish army athlete, was his PE lecturer. Denis obtained an Honours Diploma in 1966 and taught children for twelve years, making PE his lifelong study.
