Only Eva

The latest great book from the author of the best-selling ‘Eva’ and ‘Alice & Megan’ series. Ella’s Granny has to move to a nursing home, where the regime is ultra-strict, and she hates being away from her friends and her beloved dog. Eva and Ella find a way to sneak in to the nursing home at night to cheer the granny up. Gradually they become more daring, and smuggle a puppy in too. Other residents begin to join the night time parties, and in the end there is a revolution against the strict regime. In school there’s a new girl, Aretta from Nigeria, who is very nice and friendly, but avoids all suggestions that she hang out with Eva and Ella after school. The girls discover that the girl is worried about her father, who is finding it hard to settle in his new home. Eva saves the day, getting him voluntary work and helping him make friends in the community.
