The Historical Analysis of China’s State Capital

This title investigates the changes and characteristics of China’s state capital in the past two thousand years according to the historical order, and probes into China’s national conditions and the status, role and evolution trend of state capital. It is the first monograph devoted to understanding China’s capital’s long history, from the period of ancient agricultural civilization to the evolution of the state-owned economy, analysing the different roles of state capital in different socio-economic forms and under different political regimes.

The book makes use of Marxist historical materialism to analyse the source and historical status of China’s national conditions and socialism with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of state-owned economy.
