China is experiencing the most comprehensive and profound institutional change in the history of world social security. The 13th Five-Year Plan of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China calls for a more equitable and sustainable social security system. That’s giving us unlimited power to tell China’s old-age story and welcome to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In the light of the above considerations, this book was written. As the core content of social security, old-age care has always been the basic people livelihood project that the Communist Party of China and government attach great importance to, and is also the important administrative goal of building a moderately prosperous society.
