This work, for the first time, makes a systematic review of all the radiocarbon dates available for the prehistory of the Balearic Islands. Apart from an inventory of all the dates, with precise contextual information on where the sample comes from and discussion of the implications of the data, the study includes a statistical analysis of the good quality dates, and a final proposal of the archaeological sequence of the islands.
