Presents findings from the three principal mesolithic sites on the Cotentin peninsula in Lower Normandy - Auderville-Roc de Gite, Flamanville-EDF and Flamanville-Dehus - with more limited discussions of the excavation of Digulleville, Hatainville, Surtainville, Cosqueville and Jobourg-Perreval II. The final section of the work serves as a synthesis for the findings from individual sites, seeking to identify characteristics of tools and debitage common to the Mesolithic of the North Cotentin, with comparison in brief to those of Horsham in Sussex.
