This tender, old-fashioned children's bedtime storybook is set in the real-life North Devon village of Clovelly. It follows the adventures of a cheeky young donkey called Pablo, who, early one morning leaves his cosy stable in search of his missing breakfast.

As he bumps into other friendly animals along the way he doesn't have much luck, but as his journey continues and the story unfolds, Pablo finds his happy ending; eventually returning home and falling into a deep, dreamy sleep back in his stable.
