Paul Vebber may only be twenty-three but he is already a successful, prominent poet with two published books. Despite this success, Paul finds himself disenchanted and disappointed in his life. Depressed and tired of his shallow friends, his life to him seems to be nothing but meaningless relationships and recurring nightmares. He feels like he has lost something very important (himself, perhaps?..)

Resolved to make an effort to reconnect with the child he once was and to understand how and when everything went so wrong, Paul sets out to change his life. It’s all going well until one day when he meets a charismatic (and slightly weird) stranger…
